Milo WPForms

Creates subscriptions from WPForms submissions. Works with WPForms Lite.

Setup

  1. Install and activate WPForms (Lite or paid) and Milo WPForms.
  2. In Milo Subscriptions → Settings → General, make sure Enable WPForms integration is on (it is by default).
  3. Edit a form. Under Settings → Milo Subscriptions:
    • Turn on Create a subscription on submission.
    • Pick the Billing mode.

WooCommerce mode

Set Subscription product ID to a simple subscription product’s ID. On submission, Milo finds or creates the customer from the submitted email, creates a completed order for the product, and creates the subscription from it. The subscription carries a note naming the form.

No payment is collected by the form: use this for free plans, invoiced customers, or flows where payment is handled separately. The subscription renews according to the product’s billing schedule.

Standalone mode

Set Plan slug to a standalone plan’s slug. On submission, Milo finds or creates the WordPress user and redirects the browser to the plan’s Stripe Checkout, where payment happens. The subscription is created when Stripe confirms.

Field mapping

Leave Email field ID and Name field ID empty and the first email field and first name field of the form are used. Set them to a field ID to override.

Notes

  • The global toggle lives in Milo Subscriptions → Settings → General → WPForms.
  • Submissions with an invalid or missing email are ignored (no subscription, no error shown to the visitor).
